Installation purposes
Since its founding in March 1996, we have been focusing on promoting international academic exchanges and promoting international friendships, and are operating various international programs and expanding opportunities for students to foster global leaders with international competitiveness. As the globalization of education became full-scale and its importance and scale increased, it was promoted to the International Exchange Center in 2018, and its Korean language education center was established. Currently, the Korean Language Education Center offers Korean language training programs for Joongbu University foreigners only, and aims to raise the Korean language in the international community. There are about 950 international students, including Korean language trainees from 12 countries and as a result of these efforts, we were selected as the “International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS)” hosted by the Ministry of Education in 2017.
